Lets face it, I am a girl. So therefore, I love to shop. However, I was feeling uneasy about my carbon footprint in my shopping sprees. So one day it hit me, I can be environmentally concious while still being trendy and unique. In what way is this possible? THRIFT STORES!!

Dear fashionistas,
By shopping at thrift stores instead of your local mall, you can;
REDUCE your carbon footprint && the energy production takes.
REUSE old but fashionalbe gently worn clothing. besides, if it were stylish in one decade, who's to say it still isnt?
RECYLCE your clothes ! give your old clothes to you local

Wow! I decided to change my make-up products from my ol' faithful M.A.C. to something that is not only enviornmentally friendly but also better for my skin. And I found *drum roll please* URBAN DECAY !! Trust me when I say, this product is amazing! I am currently using the foundation which has worked better than ANY foundation I have EVER used. It is extremely suttle and gives that natural look as if you have no make-up on at all. And also, Urban Decay foundation is also vegan and extremely light. The best part about it, IT WILL NOT CLOGG YOUR PORES! What more can you ask for? So go check it out. I bought mine at an Ulta Store.

Did you know that makeup can cause serious harm to the environment and also your health? Yes, makeup is filled with chemicals of which your skin absorbs. Doesnt sound to healthy. But dont fret! I am here to help. Here is a list of environmentally friendly products with all natural ingredients and recycable packaging.

These chemicals are in our make up ladies !
Parabens - a preservative linked to breast cancer, weight gain
and hormone disruption. Its prefixes are ethyl, methyl, butyl,
isobutyl or propyl.

Talc - contains a chemical that is similar to asbestos and can
increase the risk of certain ovarian cancers.

Fragrance - this term is used to mask hundreds of chemical
ingredients including phthalates which disrupts the endocrine
system and may cause reproductive and developmental harm.

By upgrading your heating and air conditioning system to and Energy Star rated system, you are eligible to get a tax credit of 30% of the purchase price with a $1,500 cap. How "cool" is that. Not only will "greening" your system save you money on your energy bill, but you now have a $1,500 incentive to do so! We have Obama's 2008 economic stimulus package to thank for that. ;-)
