By upgrading your heating and air conditioning system to and Energy Star rated system, you are eligible to get a tax credit of 30% of the purchase price with a $1,500 cap. How "cool" is that. Not only will "greening" your system save you money on your energy bill, but you now have a $1,500 incentive to do so! We have Obama's 2008 economic stimulus package to thank for that. ;-)

Any hybrids, battery electric or alternate fuel cars are eligible for a tax deduction of anywhere between $250-$7,500 depending on your car. Just a little thank you for greening the air. ;-)
