So sorry I have not been posting as much. With this move to DC and starting my internship with 1Sky, its been really hectic so i've be a little busy. I promise I wont neglect you anymore though!

You all know about the oil spill going on. However, you may not know that there is vote going on in Washington, DC that will be taking place tomorrow dealing with the "Dirty Air Act" resolution. PLEASE CALL YOUR SENATORS! CALL, EMAIL, FAX and tell them to VOTE NO for this resolution PLEASE. Our environment depends on this!!!

Ok so, the "Dirty Air Act" is sponsored by this horrid women Senator Lisa Murkowski. Basically, what she wants to do is weaken the ability of the EPA's ability to regulate the amount of pollution in the air. Sen. Murkowski is sponsored by dirty coal and petroleum companies who she accepts hundreds of thousands of dollars from. Actually, she is ranked number 3 among senators accepting the most money from petroleum companies. So we obviously know why she is campaigning so hard for them to continue to pollute as they please.

It is absolutely ridiculous to let this vote pass in mist of such a huge catastrophe. DO NO LET THE OIL COMPANIES GET AWAY WITH THEIR POLLUTION. If this vote passes, that is exactly what will happen.
